The Columbus County Community Farmers Market is partnering with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and the Volunteer Center at Southeastern Community College to provide an exciting and fun experience for volunteers.
Here are just a few of the ways volunteers can help the Farmers Market and serve their community:
• Staff the community information booth • Sell t-shirts, note cards, cookbooks and other promotional items • Assist with special event activities • Help with promotions and outreach.
Volunteers are needed on regular market days of Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from May through December. A volunteer orientation will be provided. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Volunteer Center at SCC by calling (910) 642-7141 ext. 294 or enter your information below and someone will follow-up with you.
