Grant Provides Free Cooking Classes

hrough a generous grant from The Conservation Fund, the Columbus County Farmers Market offered Oldway's African Heritage and Health Program Cooking Classes on every Saturday throughout the month of June 2019 and one (1) additional session in the Fall in the shared-use kitchen.
The instructor for this series was Adante Hart, one of Oldway's African Heritage and Health Program Ambassadors. Adante has a Master's Degree in Public Health from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
