FARMERS MARKET NEWS MAGAZINE RELEASED
The latest edition of Farmers Market News, the official publication of the Columbus County Community Farmers Market is scheduled to be released during the week of May 5, 2014, just prior to the opening of the 2014 season on May 10.
30,000 copies of Farmers Market News, a full-color magazine, will be dirtibuted through local newspapers and in various public locations including local businesses, visitor centers, and area attractions throughout Columbus County.

The Farmers Market has contracted with Kip Godwin of Kipling Godwin & Associates to publish the magazine. Godwin has overseen publication of three previous versions of Farmers Market News since 2007 utilizing grant funds.
“This edition of Farmers Market News will be similar to the others in that it will include vendor profiles, information about special events like the Fun Run & Walk, recognition of poster contest winners, as well as safe food handling practices, recipes, and reasons to buy local food,” Godwin said. “It will be different in that it will be published in a magazine rather than a tabloid format and it will include advertisements from area businesses who support the farmers and farmers market.”
For more information, please contact Godwin at (910) 840-6743 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
